Marie Boodhna

Assistant Principal

Dear Kirkkpatrick’s families, staff, and community members,
My name is Pascaline Marie Boodhna and I am very excited to
introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Kirkpatrick Middle
School. I am grateful and honored to join and serve the Wildcats
Family! I look forward to working in partnership with you all to
continue to ignite, in every student and staff member, a mindset for
continuous growth, self-improvement, and lifelong learning.
I come to you with 15 years of experience as an educator in rural and
suburban settings. I have an MBA from the University of Notre Dame,
Fremantle, Australia. I spent the past 9 years as a Social Studies teacher at William James
Middle School. I also taught science, math, business studies, and french. Over the past two
years, I took a more active leadership role. I was an Assistant Principal for summer school
2021 and an Administrative Intern at William James. I was also responsible for leading and
coaching the social studies department, where I served as Department Chair for 5 years. I
supported and coordinated a mentoring program for new teachers, developed an
instructional and attendance recovery program for students; coordinated testing both local
and state, and was part of the instructional leadership team.
I grew up on the west coast of a small island in the Indian Ocean called Mauritius and lived in Western Australia for 15 years. I am multilingual and multiracial. My son, Alexandre, a
FWISD graduate, is now an active member of the US Army, and we call Fort Worth, Texas,
home since 2010.
Teaching is my heart and passion. I started my journey as an educator back on the island, I
believe that without an education, I would not be where I am today, and without the support
of great educators that passion would not have been sparked in me. I am committed to
working alongside Principal Bartolotta, our school leadership, and staff - as we continue to
build a structure of collaborative relationships in our school and community - so that ALL
students at Kirkpatrick have a variety of opportunities to support their success!
I look forward to meeting each of you.
